Among these measures, four deserve to be highlighted:
- Emergency aid;
- 13th salary from INSS;
- Good;
- Pronampe.
1 – Emergency aid
Caixa Econômica Federal is making emergency aid payments and the amounts released are R$ 150.00, R$ 250.00 and R$ 375.00.
The calendar continues for the next few weeks and it will soon be possible to withdraw cash from the benefit, which is initially available at Caixa Tem.
2 – Advance payment of the 13th salary
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro stated that the 13th salary for INSS retirees and pensioners will be brought forward.
According to the Federal Government's forecast, the benefit should begin to be paid in May.
The amount will be divided into two installments, the second of which must be paid in June.
3 – BEm
The BEm (Employment and Income Preservation Benefit) allows companies to suspend contracts or reduce working hours and wages.
According to the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, the return of the program should be announced at any moment.
Last year, companies that reached an agreement with workers achieved three types of workday reductions:
- 25%;
- 50%;
- 70%.
In turn, the suspension of the contract may receive 70% or 100% of the BEm installment.
4 – Pronampe
The Government has already sent a bill to Congress to reopen the National Program to Support Small and Micro Enterprises (Pronampe).
The measure was implemented in 2020 to offer financial aid to companies that were affected by the new coronavirus pandemic and is expected to be back in operation soon.
