Since Monday (20), the emergency aid application has been providing users who had their request denied with the possibility of making a new request or, if they prefer, contesting the result of the analysis carried out by Dataprev, the company responsible for validating the information.
This option is available both for those who applied through the app or website, and also for those registered in the Unified Registry who did not receive the benefit.
Registered in the Single Registry
Workers who are registered in the Unified Registry and who meet the requirements for Emergency Aid should have their benefits paid automatically.
If a worker's request for emergency aid is denied, but they believe they meet the criteria, they can access the... website and check on its status.
Registered through the app or website.
Workers who are not registered in the Cadastro Único (Single Registry), but who registered through the app or website, should check the status of their application.
The Caixa Econômica Federal (Brazilian Federal Savings Bank) promised to make available by the end of the week the results compiled by Dataprev regarding the list of denied emergency aid applications.
See what each piece of information means:
- Under review – The data is still being analyzed by Dataprev;
- Benefit not approved – The worker can contest the request through the app or website. Alternatively, they can submit a new request if they prefer.
- Inconclusive data – The worker can submit a new request. Therefore, when making the new request, they need to be aware of the possible reasons for the incomplete application, according to Caixa:
– Appointment with head of household without indicating any family members;
– Incorrect entry of family member data, such as date of birth or CPF (Brazilian tax identification number);
– Failure to include information about the applicant's gender;
– Inclusion of a family member who has already passed away;
– Discrepancies in registration information among family members.
Requirements for emergency aid.
It is important to always emphasize the requirements for receiving emergency aid, which are:
- You must be over 18 years of age;
- You cannot receive a pension;
- You are not eligible for unemployment benefits;
- You cannot be a beneficiary of any government program;
- You cannot be part of any federal income transfer program, with the sole exception of Bolsa Família;
- Monthly income must be up to three minimum wages, or per capita income must be up to half a minimum wage.
- You cannot have taxable income above R$ 28,559.70 in 2018.
Therefore, if you do not meet the above requirements, it is very likely that your emergency aid request will be denied.
Furthermore, if approved and at any point no longer meeting the requirements, the benefit will be automatically terminated.
