Caixa begins paying the first installment of aid to newly approved applicants
Caixa Econômica Federal began paying the first installment of emergency aid to newly approved applicants this Tuesday (19).

So, the first to receive it on Tuesday are the beneficiaries who were born in January.
Therefore, payments will be made until May 29, on staggered days by birth month.
According to Caixa, by the end of the payment, approximately R$5.3 billion will be credited to more than 8.3 million workers.
This way, workers can check the status of their benefit directly through the emergency aid website or app.
Furthermore, also this Tuesday, the bank will be paying the second installment of the aid to Bolsa Família beneficiaries whose NIS ends in 2.
In turn, workers who are registered in the Single Registry and do not receive Bolsa Família, as well as those who registered through the Emergency Aid website, will only begin receiving the second installment on Wednesday.

The first installment of emergency aid for newly approved applicants will be credited to the account chosen by the beneficiary, in the same way as the first approved applicants received it:
- In Caixa Econômica Federal accounts;
- In Digital Social savings;
- In accounts at other banks.
Additionally, these beneficiaries can also withdraw the aid in cash on the date of release.

Calendar for the second installment of emergency aid
There will be 3 calendars:
- To receive in digital savings;
- For cash withdrawals from Bolsa Família beneficiaries;
- For cash withdrawals from digital savings and transfer of funds.
For Bolsa Família beneficiaries:
Payment will follow the traditional Bolsa Família calendar, according to the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS) card, with in-person withdrawals at Caixa branches or lottery outlets:
- May 18: NIS 1
- May 19: NIS 2
- May 20: NIS 3
- May 21: NIS 4
- May 22: NIS 5
- May 25: NIS 6
- May 26: NIS 7

For other beneficiaries:
These workers will receive R$ 600 in Caixa's social savings account, according to the beneficiary's month of birth.
