Auxílio Brasil is an income transfer program from Federal Government, in fact, it is the replacement for Bolsa Família.

Among the changes that have occurred, we can highlight the number of beneficiaries and amounts transferred, which currently has a minimum ceiling of R$400.00.

However, the program will continue to exist, but the minimum amount will last until December.

The good news is that the MP that defines the new value is already on the agenda in the chamber, just waiting for the goodwill of the parliamentarians to be voted on and define the new value for 2023, which can be higher, lower or they can set the current minimum value.

What is Brazil Aid?

Auxílio Brasil is a Federal Government program that integrates several public social assistance policies.

In other words, it is a program composed of subprograms that meet different needs of the low-income population.

Furthermore, its main characteristic is that these families are provided with a basic income, with a minimum value of R$400.00.

The main objective of the program is to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of low-income children and adolescents, including access to basic health services, education, security, etc.

Who is entitled to receive it?

The Federal Government benefit coordinated by Ministry of Citizenship is exclusive to a certain group, the following are part of that group:

  • Families in extreme poverty;
  • Families in poverty and under emancipation rules.

To find out if your family is eligible to participate in this program, please note that the monthly per capita family income (per member) must not exceed R$$105.00 for families in extreme poverty.

Per capita income for families living in poverty should range from R$105.01 to R$210.00.

Finding out your family's monthly income per head is simple: add up the income of all family members, then divide by the number of members.

The result is the sum per capita, that is, per head.

How to receive?

Eligible families are controlled through CadÚnico, so to receive it, you must register in the agency's database.

Families eligible can receive the benefit through different channels, the main ones being:

  • Digital Social Savings (Caixa Tem app);
  • Current account with demand deposit;
  • Special demand deposit account;
  • Program Social Platform.

The amounts can be withdrawn with the Bolsa Família card at lottery outlets in payment date of Auxílio Brasil.

It's worth noting that withdrawals are available up to 120 days after the deposit date. Therefore, it's important not to miss this deadline to avoid losing the benefit.

What is the payment date for Brazil aid?

Payment is made based on the NIS number ending. Today, April 26th, families with NIS numbers ending in 7 will receive payment.

Until Friday (29) the benefit for the month of April will be paid to beneficiaries with card numbers ending in 8, 9 and 0.

The calendar is available until December. Check below which Brazil Aid payment date by the end of 2022.

The Federal Government emphasizes that the amount must be paid in full. If you are missing the amount, contact the Cadúnico office in your city.

Some families are receiving the Gas Voucher worth R$51.00 with Auxílio Brasil.

The expectation is that all families participating in the Auxílio Brasil Program will also receive the Vale Gás, however, so far this has not happened.

There is no need to register to receive this benefit, families will be selected automatically.

The Vale Gás payment schedule follows the Auxílio Brasil dates, that is, instead of receiving R$400.00, families receive R$451.00.

Will Auxílio Brasil end in December?

No. The program will not end in December. However, what may change starting in December is the R$$400.00 amount.

This week's agenda is Provisional Measure 1,076, which established the minimum benefit of R$1,400.00. It's different from the one that established Auxílio Brasil.

It was stipulated that by December 31st no family would receive less than this amount.

However, it needs to be voted on by mid-May, and is scheduled to be voted on today in the chamber, but it can be removed from the agenda for another date.

This MP has 51 amendments, among which are suggestions to make the current minimum value in force and even increase this ceiling.

Everything is still uncertain, but there may be news in the next few days regarding the program.

The only certainty is that all families will receive the minimum amount of R$400.00 by December 31, 2022.

So, the Brazil Aid 2022 payment date remains valid until that period.

Conclusion

In January 2022, all families on the waiting list to receive Bolsa Família were included and began receiving Auxílio Brasil.

Furthermore, a minimum value of R$400.00 was stipulated until the end of December, however, the value is part of a provisional measure, so it may change after that date.

Of course, the minimum amount passed on to families may increase or decrease, we don't know yet.
