Emergency aid extended by R$ 300.00
It's official, emergency aid has been extended, and the Federal Government has already established the value of the extended installments of the benefit that was granted during the coronavirus pandemic.

In this way, it was established that two more installments in the amount of R$ 300.00 of the aid will be paid.
The information, according to the Globo report, was confirmed by sources from the Brazilian economic team.
Furthermore, it is estimated that this extension of the program will cost the public coffers approximately R$1,400,000.
Two more installments of R$300.00 for extended emergency aid
To extend the program, the Government will need to modify the law that establishes Emergency Aid.
The reason for this is that the original text provides for the value and also the number of installments.
And, as you know, the amount was R$ 600.00 with 3 installments of emergency aid.
Therefore, the current model is a result of a series of negotiations between the Executive and the Legislative branches.
So, initially the Federal Government's economic team suggested three installments of R$$ 200.00, based on the average amount paid to Bolsa Família beneficiaries.
However, parliamentarians raised the proposal to R$ 500.00 and, in the end, this value of R$ 600.00 was established.
The value of R$ 300.00 was defined after several meetings
At the beginning of last week, it was still uncertain whether emergency aid would be extended.
After all, the extension should be two installments of R$ 300.00 or three installments of R$ 200.00.
According to the Special Secretary of Finance, Waldery Rodrigues, this would bring the total cost of the program to R$1,400,000.
Thus, the choice of R$ 300.00 was established after several meetings with the economic team, the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes and President Jair Bolsonaro.
For Rodrigo Maia, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, the amount of R$ 600.00 should be maintained by the Government, because, for him, the reduction of the monthly amount “would be very bad”.
And the third installment of emergency aid?
The full schedule for the third installment of the R$ 600.00 emergency aid has not yet been released.
However, the expectation is that it will be in the same format as the second installment calendar.
In this way, Bolsa Família beneficiaries will be the first to receive, followed by other workers and, finally, there will be withdrawal and transfer days.
In fact, the expectation is that payments of aid to those who receive Bolsa Família will begin on the 17th.
