The last batch of Pis Pasep was released on the 19th

With a new value of R$1.045, the last batch of Pis/Pasep was released on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

PIS, the Social Integration Program, is a benefit granted by the government that aims to integrate employees into the private sector for the development of the company.

On the other hand, Pasep, the Public Servant Asset Formation Program, is similar to PIS and aims to integrate public servants from the Union, state, municipality and Federal District.

In short, Pis payments are made by Caixa and Pasep is the responsibility of Banco do Brasil.

The last batch of Pis/Pasep payments began on Thursday the 19th and will be available for withdrawal until June 30th.

Pis/Pasep Batch 2020

On Thursday, the 19th, the government released the last Pis/Pasep 2020 bonus, for the month of March.

Due to a minimum wage adjustment, the amount of R$988.00 became R$1045. This full amount refers to an employee who worked for 12 months with a formal employment contract in the base year of 2018.

On the other hand, people who worked for 30 days with a signed employment contract in the base year in 2018 will receive a salary bonus of R$88.00.

It is worth noting that this last batch of Pis/Pasep is intended for workers born in May and June, for PIS, and beneficiaries whose numbers end in 8 and 9, for Pasep.

As already mentioned in the previous table, PIS is intended for workers in private institutions and payment is the responsibility of Caixa Econômica Federal.

While Pasep is aimed at public employees, and payment is made by Banco do Brasil.

Who is entitled to the Pis/Pasep salary bonus?

Above all, this salary bonus is not available to everyone. To qualify for this benefit from the Federal Government, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Work for at least 30 days with a signed employment contract in the base year;
  • Have been registered with Pis/Pasep for at least 5 years;
  • Have the data correctly reported by the company in the Government's Annual Social Information Writing system, RAIS.

How to withdraw Pis/Pasep

Firstly, the withdrawal of the Pis salary bonus can be made at a lottery shop or agency using the citizen card.

For Caixa account holders, the amount will be automatically deposited into their account. Those who don't have any of the options mentioned above can simply visit a Caixa branch with a valid ID.

Next, Pasep is allocated to public servants. Therefore, the amount made available by the government automatically deposits into their Banco do Brasil checking account.

Be careful not to lose your money. If you fall into the above categories and do not have a current account with any of these financial institutions, go to a branch with your personal documents.
