So, for those who worked in 2018 and have not yet withdrawn their benefits, the last payment batch ends this week.
According to the schedule that was released, workers have until Friday (29) to withdraw the bonus.
However, initially the date was not that, but the Federal Government decided to bring forward the receipt, which was scheduled for June 30th.
Therefore, these changes occurred due to the situation the country finds itself in, facing the Covid-19 pandemic, a disease caused by the new coronavirus.
This means that thousands of Brazilians have their incomes compromised and are unable to perform their duties.
However, it is worth mentioning that PIS and PASEP are different payments, the former being for professionals employed by private sector companies.
In turn, PASEP is specifically intended for public servants.
Who is entitled to the salary bonus?
There are established criteria for each of the receipts, which may vary in payment between R$ 88.00 and R$ 1045.00.
Therefore, payment is made to those workers who have had a work permit for more than 5 years, in addition to having received a maximum salary of 2 minimum wages per month.
Furthermore, to receive this benefit by Friday, you must have worked for at least 30 consecutive days in the base year (2018), all of which must be documented in your work card.
In fact, it is this period of work that will determine the value of the allowance.
This is because, for each month worked in 2018, the value can increase or even decrease.
Therefore, if activities were carried out in the 12 months, the value of the salary bonus will be equivalent to the current minimum wage, that is, R$ 1,045.00.
How to check the price?
The consultation of the value of the allowance can be done through Caixa Econômica Federal website, especially in the case of PIS, that is, for those who worked in private sector companies.
To do this, you only need to enter your NIS and password. If you are registering for the first time, simply click on “Register” and follow the instructions provided by the website.
In the case of PASEP, for public servants, it is necessary to access the website Bank of Brazil.
Then, enter the benefit number, CPF and date of birth, so you can check the amount.
Additionally, if you prefer, this information can still be consulted in the BB Pasep app or the Caixa Trabalhador app – both are available for Android and iOS.
