Therefore, workers born between May and June who are entitled to the salary bonus can now claim the amount, which varies from R$$ 88.00 to R$$ 1,045, determined according to the number of days worked during the base year, which is 2018.

It is important to emphasize that workers registered with PIS for at least 5 years and who worked formally for at least 30 days in 2018, where the average monthly remuneration was up to two minimum wages (R$ 2,090.00), are entitled to withdraw the funds.

Just to give you an idea, there are more than 3.5 million workers born in May and June, which totals R$ 2.6 million who will be rescued.

How to withdraw?

For the withdrawal to be processed, the worker's data must be correctly reported by the employer in the RAIS (Annual Social Information Report), base year 2018.

Those who have a Citizen Card and a registered password, for example, can go to a lottery outlet, a Caixa Aqui service point, or one of the Caixa Econômica Federal self-service terminals to withdraw the money.

Conversely, if you do not have a Citizen Card and have not automatically received your PIS payment in your Caixa account, you can withdraw the amount at any Caixa branch.

To do this, simply present an official photo ID, such as a national identity card or driver's license, for example.

Regarding the benefit amount, it can be checked through the Caixa Trabalhador app, which is available for Android and iOS, via the website, or by calling 0800-7260207.

Remember that workers with ties to any public company are registered with PASEP and thus receive benefit payments through Banco do Brasil.

Furthermore, Banco do Brasil reported that on March 16th, it had already made the PASEP salary bonus payment to approximately 265,424 workers with registration numbers ending in 08 and 09, totaling R$ 252,235,751.63, who have a checking or savings account at BB.

So, since last Thursday (19) payments have been available for the remaining workers.

In this way, more than 580,000 workers across the country are eligible to receive the bonus, which totals R$ 570 million.

Deadline for receiving the bonus.

It's important to be aware that the salary bonus can be withdrawn until June 30th.

Therefore, if the withdrawal is not made by the deadline, the benefit may be lost, and it will be transferred to the Worker's Support Fund (FAT), a source used to pay benefits such as unemployment insurance.

Those who missed the deadline for the first payment can seek guidance at one of the Labor Secretariat's service units or contact the Call Center at 158.
