See when the second installment of emergency aid will be released

According to the president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Pedro Guimarães, the payment dates for the second installment of emergency aid will still be announced this week.

The calendar initially established the release of funds from April 27th and Caixa had even announced that it would bring forward payments.

However, she was canceled and a new date for the second installment of emergency aid has not yet been announced.

Remembering that this indefinite payment includes those registered through the app or website Emergency Aid in addition to those registered in the Single Registry who do not receive Bolsa Família.

In turn, Bolsa Família beneficiaries will receive the resources according to the usual schedule for this benefit.

“It will be next week, for sure,” Guimarães said last Friday.

According to him, Caixa Econômica Federal's proposal for the calendar is already fully prepared, but it still needs to be presented by him and Onyx Lorenzoni, Minister of Citizenship, to Brazilian President Bolsonaro, who needs to approve it.

"I'm not going to announce it now, because I still have to meet with Minister Onyx, the Minister of Citizenship, and we will both go to President Jair Bolsonaro. Only after the President agrees to the entire schedule that we will jointly present will we be able to speak to you, but it will certainly be next week," said Guimarães.

According to the president of Caixa, the calendar should be organized so that payment dates do not coincide with the release dates of Bolsa Família, nor with cash withdrawals for those who had funds deposited in Caixa's Digital Savings Account, all as a way to avoid crowds and the formation of long lines as has been seen in recent weeks.

More than 12 million people must re-register

Approximately 12.4 million Brazilians who registered to receive emergency aid of R$600.00 must re-register through the website or app.

According to Caixa, this is the number of applicants whose applications were evaluated as “inconclusive”.

This means that they entered information that could not be analyzed during the first registration, which may include different address, dependent or CPF data, among other issues.

According to Pedro Guimarães, president of Caixa Econômica Federal, only workers whose registration was determined to be inconclusive can redo this request.

Therefore, those whose requests were denied and received a response as ineligible are permanently excluded.

“Ineligible candidates cannot re-register, only those who failed to complete the application,” he said in an interview.

Data released by Caixa last Friday (11) shows that, out of a total of almost 97 million registrations in the program, 50.1 million were approved.

So, the other 50.2 million are still undergoing the first analysis, which is why the schedule for the second installment of emergency aid has not yet been released.
