The notice refers to and provides guidance on the return of resources and payments of the Federal Revenue Collection Document (DARF).
According to the Federal Government, more than 600,000 people were notified that they must return the resources to the Union.
According to the Citizenship, these workers belong to the groups that registered through the digital platform to receive emergency aid.
When is it necessary to return?
There are two situations in which a refund becomes necessary. The first is when the person, when filing their Income Tax return, declared taxable income above $22,847.76 in 2020, and is therefore required to return the aid.
According to the Ministry of Citizenship, when filing the 2021 Income Tax return, these people receive a DARF for the refund of the installments, but they have not yet made the payment.
Who does not fall under the program rules?
Furthermore, there are people who received resources improperly because they did not meet the program's requirements.
The group also includes beneficiaries with evidence of receiving a second government welfare benefit, such as retirement and unemployment insurance, for example.
Furthermore, the government did not disclose the amount that was paid unduly.
