2.5 million have already received emergency aid
Around 2.5 million people have already received the first installment of the emergency aid of R$600.00 that was announced by the government for informal workers.

Thus, the first to receive it were those who are registered in the federal government's Single Registry, but who do not receive Bolsa Família and who have an account at Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil.
Therefore, the benefit was credited to the accounts of 436,078 Banco do Brasil customers and the savings accounts of 2,150,497 Caixa customers. The total amount made available was approximately R$1.5 billion.

First installment
- People who are registered in the Single Registry, who do not receive Bolsa Família and have an account at Caixa or Banco do Brasil – April 9th;
- People who are registered in the Single Registry, who do not receive Bolsa Família and do not have an account at Caixa or Banco do Brasil – April 14th;
- Informal workers and those not registered in the Single Registry – 5 business days after registering for the emergency aid program;
- Bolsa Família beneficiaries – following the program's regular calendar, in the last 10 business days of April.
Second installment
- People who are registered in the Single Registry, who do not receive Bolsa Família and have an account at Caixa or Banco do Brasil – between April 27th and 30th;
- Bolsa Família beneficiaries – following the program's regular calendar, in the last 10 business days of May.
Third installment
- People who are registered in the Single Registry, who do not receive Bolsa Família and have an account at Caixa or Banco do Brasil – between May 26th and 29th;
- Bolsa Família beneficiaries – following the program's regular calendar, in the last 10 business days of June.
Who is entitled to emergency assistance?
- Be over 18 years of age and have a valid CPF;
- Not having a formal job;
- Have a monthly family income per person of up to half the minimum wage or a monthly family income that does not exceed three minimum wages;
- Not be entitled to any social security or welfare benefit, such as unemployment insurance or a federal income transfer program, with the exception of Bolsa Família;
- That, in the year 2018, he did not receive taxable income above R$ 28,559.70.
If any of these requirements are not met, the aid will be cut off immediately.
Furthermore, the text states that the worker must perform the activity under the condition of:
- Individual microentrepreneur (MEI);
- Informal worker, employed, self-employed or unemployed;
- Intermittent active;
- Individual contributor to the General Social Security Regime who is self-employed;
- Be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government until March 20, 2020;
- Meet the income requirements mentioned above, as long as you make a self-declaration through the Government website.
