Retirement fine-tooth comb extended for another 2 years
The INSS beneficiaries' review has been extended for another two years, which includes extending the period for retirements, pensions and benefits paid.

According to the text that established the program, the analysis of benefits with irregularities, which would end on December 31 of this year, will be carried out by December 31, 2022.
According to the INSS, the review of benefits is linked to identified registration issues:
“not going into, at this time, the rules of law that generated the benefit”.
The agency did not communicate how many beneficiaries have been reviewed since the fine-tooth comb began in August of this year, nor whether payments were suspended after the procedure.
Sending documents
Insured individuals who receive notification from the institute must present the documentation requested through Meu INSS or in person at the agency, after scheduling.
The institute has the right to review benefits granted over the last 10 years to check for irregularities.
Beneficiaries who fail to prove their entitlement to the income may have their benefits suspended or even canceled. For beneficiaries with more than 10 years of benefits, the INSS may review the benefit if there is any indication of fraud, and the fraud must be identified in the federal notification itself.
How to present the documentation?
- Visit the website My INSS or application, available for Android and iOS;
- Log in if you already have an account. If not, register by providing your details;
- On the website or app, you must choose the “requirement compliance” service.
If it is not possible to send the document electronically, the insured must schedule compliance with these requirements at an INSS agency.
In this case, the beneficiary has 60 days to schedule the service to comply with the requirement, counting from the date of receipt of the summons.
Beneficiaries who received the notification can schedule an appointment by calling INSS on 135 and choosing the “document delivery by summons” option.
