The deadline to withdraw the PIS/PASEP benefit is June 30th. The amount to be withdrawn from the current benefit can reach up to R$1,100.00, or one minimum wage. This amount depends on how long the worker had a formal employment contract in 2019.

For those with a Caixa checking account, the amount is credited to the account if it has transactions and a balance above R$ 1.00. Those with a Citizen Card can withdraw the benefit at a lottery outlet or at Caixa.

In other cases, it is possible to make the withdrawal by presenting the PIS number and identity document at a Caixa branch.

Payments began in July of last year, for those born in July, and are ending this month for those born in June.

The next calendar, relating to the months worked in 2020, will begin in January 2022.
