Beneficiaries of emergency aid who do not agree with the justification for cancellation can contest the decision until November 2nd, through the website. Dataprev.
Currently, this appeal is only available to beneficiaries not enrolled in Bolsa Família. This is because information regarding this procedure has not yet been released to Bolsa Família beneficiaries.
Then, after reanalyzing the beneficiary's data, if the appeal is approved, emergency aid will be paid again in the month following this procedure.
Provisional measure number 1000, which is responsible for the aid of R$ 300.00, establishes that the reassessment of the criteria for formal employment, receipt of assistance or social security benefits, and death of the beneficiary must be done every month.
Therefore, if any type of irregularity is identified by the Ministry of Citizenship, the benefit is automatically suspended.
"We are working to ensure maximum effectiveness in the payment of aid and its extension, and we are receiving global recognition for this. Every month, we conduct reviews based on cross-referencing of Federal Government data to ensure the funds reach those who truly need them," stated Minister of Citizenship Onyx Lorenzoni.
Aid extended until December
President Jair Messias Bolsonaro announced the extension of emergency aid for 4 months in the amount of R$$ 300.00.
Thus, the extension was made official through the provisional measure and will have to be approved by deputies and senators in the National Congress.
"It's often not enough for all needs, but it basically covers them. The amount just set is slightly higher than R$1,000 of the Bolsa Família benefit. So, we decided here, even considering the economy and fiscal responsibility, to set it at R$1,000,000," Bolsonaro said.
