Benefits you can receive after the emergency aid ends

It is already widely known that emergency aid will only be paid until December, as there is currently no possibility of extending the benefit.

After all, the aid law can only be paid while the period of public calamity due to Covid-19 lasts, a period that runs until December 31st.

The end of emergency aid is expected to leave 38 million without assistance.

The Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) conducted a survey that showed that after the end of the emergency benefit payment in December of this year, more than 38 million people will be left without assistance.

It is worth mentioning that this number corresponds to people who receive assistance, but who are not registered in the Bolsa Família program.

Therefore, the 38 million mentioned represent 61% of the population that received emergency aid.

According to the research, most of them are informal workers (64%), while 74% of them have an income of up to R$ 1,254.00 and are, for the most part, people with low levels of education (55%).

The foundation's study was based on August data from the PNAD Covid-19, a survey conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), developed to measure the effects of the pandemic on the labor market and the health of Brazilians.
