For months the Caixa Tem It is becoming established as the federal government's social security wallet. Created to optimize emergency aid payments, the app has transformed into a public disbursement tool and is gaining several new services.
Financial transfers via PIX and TED.
Beneficiaries of Bolsa Família and emergency aid can now make bank transfers through Caixa Tem.
To do this, you only need to be logged into the platform and have available funds in your account.
Specifically for Bolsa Família beneficiaries, the extended aid payment allows for immediate transfers.
The user needs to select whether they want the service via PIX or TED and fill in the bank details requested in the transaction.
It's worth mentioning that PIX transfers are distinguished by their immediate processing time. The money arrives in the recipient's account the moment the sender completes the transaction. Furthermore, there are no fees charged.
In contrast, with TED (Electronic Transfer of Funds), it is necessary to wait 24 hours for the funds to be transferred. However, it does not require the user to create a transfer key, as is the case with PIX (Brazil's instant payment system).
Those receiving emergency aid, in turn, must wait approximately 30 days to complete the TED (Electronic Funds Transfer).
However, PIX offers immediate permission, but only if the amount is transferred to a bank account with a different holder.
