The deadline for withdrawing PIS for those who worked in 2018 is May 29th.

In turn, those who worked in 2019, withdrawals will begin in July, following the calendar, according to the worker's date of birth.

In both situations, the amount paid for the salary bonus PIS/PASEP for workers it can reach up to R$ 1,045.00, depending on the minimum wage.

Remembering that this benefit is especially intended for those who worked formally for at least 30 days in 2018.

Now the benefit that will be paid from July is intended for those who worked at least 30 days in 2019.

PIS/PASEP requirements to receive the benefit

There are some important requirements to meet to be entitled to the salary bonus, which are:

  • The worker who worked in a formal job for at least 30 days in 2018 and 2019;
  • The worker who received, at most, two minimum wages per month;
  • The worker who has been registered with PIS or PASEP for at least 5 years;
  • The company that operated must have provided the correct worker data to the government.

And who has the right?

To find out if you are entitled to the salary bonus, you can check in the following ways.

PIS (private company employee):

  • Through the Caixa Trabalhador app;
  • On the Caixa website, by clicking on “consult”;
  • Calling Caixa customer service by phone: 0800 726 0207.

Pasep (public servant):

  • By calling the Banco do Brasil call center: 4004 0001 (capitals and metropolitan regions);
  • 0800 729 0001 (other cities);
  • 0800 729 0088 (hearing impaired).

What is the benefit amount?

The amount can reach up to a minimum wage (R$ 1,045.00) and changes depending on the length of work.

If the person worked all year, for example, they will receive the full amount.

If you only worked for one month, the benefit will be proportional, that is, 1/12, equivalent to approximately R$ 88.00.

  • 2 months: R$ 175.00
  • 3 months: R$ 262.00
  • 4 months: R$ 349.00
  • 5 months: R$ 436.00
  • 6 months: R$ 523.00

  • 12 months: R$ 1,045.00.

Where to withdraw the benefit?

If you are entitled to PIS/PASEP, withdrawals will be made as follows:

  • For private company employees, withdrawals can be made at lottery outlets or ATMs using a citizen card;
  • Without a citizen card, private company employees can withdraw money at Caixa branches along with an identity document;
  • If you are a Caixa account holder, the bonus is deposited directly into your account;
  • For public servants, withdrawals can be made at Banco do Brasil branches with a photo ID.
