According to the text, the first installment will be made between April 24th and May 8th. In turn, the second installment will take place between May 25th and June 5th.

According to the Public Ministry, withdrawals of the 13th salary in advance will be allocated to insured individuals who receive accident benefits, imprisonment benefits, sickness benefits, pensions and retirement benefits.

In fact, anyone whose benefit ends before December 31, 2020, will receive the amount proportionally.

Therefore, the first advance payment has 50% of the benefit value and the second will be paid with the Income Tax (IR) discount.

Furthermore, the text makes it clear that this decision is yet another measure to combat the economic effects of the new coronavirus.

Typically, the 13th-month salary is paid in advance only in the second half of the year. However, the second installment tends to be paid only in December.

According to official information, payment dates change depending on the amount to be received and the beneficiary's final number, without considering the digit.

So, for example, if the number is 123,456,789–0, the digit 0 is dropped, and the final number is 9.

Who is entitled to withdraw their 13th salary?

According to the law, those entitled to a bonus are those who receive any of the following items during the year:

  • Prison assistance;
  • Survivor's pension;
  • Retirement;
  • Sickness benefit;
  • Accident assistance.

In view of this, if you meet any of the above requirements, you will automatically be able to receive your 13th salary in advance.
