PIS/Pasep 2021 retroactive payment released with payment R$ 1,760 per person
Workers eligible for PIS/PASEP accounts can now withdraw their funds. The benefit was made available to formal workers and civil servants who worked between 1971 and 1988. While PIS is intended for private sector employees, PASEP is intended for public sector employees.

Thus, workers and heirs who were employed during the period may receive money. Those who have not yet withdrawn their funds can receive funds from Caixa Econômica Federal (PIS) and Banco do Brasil (PASEP) institutions. The average withdrawal is R$1,760.00 per person.
Who can withdraw retroactive PIS/PASEP?
Workers who were registered with the Fund are entitled to retroactive salary payments. PIS/PASEP until 10/04/88 and they still haven't made the withdrawal from the individual account.
In the event of the death of the shareholder, payments are made to dependents upon presentation of the following documents:
- Certificate provided by the employer, in the case of public servants;
- Court order designating the successor/legal representative, indicating the PIS to which the benefit refers, and Identity Card of the successor/legal representative (in the absence of a certificate of qualified dependents);
- Formal Sharing/Public Deed of Inventory and Sharing (Judicial or Extrajudicial);
- Certificate or declaration of dependents eligible for a survivor's pension issued by the INSS;
- If there is consensus among the successors, the withdrawal of the balance will not depend on inventory, oversharing or judicial authorization, it being sufficient that they sign a written term authorizing the withdrawal and declaring that there are no other known successors.
Retroactive PIS/PASEP withdrawal
If the worker or dependent has a balance or is a Caixa customer, in the case of retroactive PIS, the money can be redeemed automatically until the date made available by the institution, either at self-service terminals, Caixa Aqui correspondents or lottery outlets.
Amounts above R$1,000 can be withdrawn exclusively at Caixa branches upon presentation of an official photo ID.
