The funds will be available to civil servants who are entitled to the Pasep benefit and whose benefit ends in zero.
The funds can be withdrawn by professionals who are not account holders at Caixa or Banco do Brasil, which pays the Pasep benefit.
For customers of both banks, the money was already deposited into their accounts at the end of last month.
According to Caixa, the benefit can be withdrawn at lottery outlets, ATMs, and Caixa Aqui correspondents using the Citizen Card. A password is required.
The PIS payment can also be withdrawn at bank branches; for this, it is recommended that the worker bring identification.
In total, 741,586 workers are entitled to withdraw the PIS salary bonus, out of a total of R$ 573.3 million released in this batch.
In total, for the 2020/2021 fiscal year, Pasep bonuses will be paid to 2.7 million people, totaling R$ 2.57 million.

To receive the benefit, the citizen needs to:
- To have worked at least one month of the base year with a formal employment contract.
- To be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years.
- To have had an income of up to two minimum wages in the base year.
The amount paid varies according to the number of months worked. For those who had formal employment for only one month in 2019, the bonus is R$$ 88. It can reach R$$ 1,045 if the worker had an employment relationship for 12 months.
According to Caixa, the advancement of the schedule, which usually begins at the end of July, complies with resolution 857 of Codefat (council for worker support), dated April 1, 2020, as another measure to try to mitigate the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
