The value may change depending on the length of work, depending on the number of months of work in the year.

Private sector workers can withdraw money at a Caixa Econômica Federal branch, and public servants can withdraw money at a Banco do Brasil branch.

Who is entitled?

You are entitled to withdraw PIS/PASEP:

  • Anyone who worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days in 2020;
  • Anyone who earned a maximum of two monthly minimum wages;
  • Anyone who has been registered with PIS/PASEP for at least 5 years;
  • It is also necessary that the company where the worker worked has correctly informed the government of their data.

How do I know if I'm eligible?

You can make the query in two ways:

Pis (private company worker)

Just access the Caixa Trabalhador app or dial 0800 726 0207.

Pasep (public servant)

Just call Banco do Brasil's telephone numbers:

  • 4004 0001 – capitals and metropolitan regions;
  • 0800 729 0001 – other cities;
  • 0800 729 0088 – hearing impaired.

What value?

The amount paid in 2021 is up to a minimum wage, but it will depend on the length of time the worker worked at the company.

If it was the whole year, he receives the full minimum wage, if the period was 30 days, he will receive the proportional 1/12 of the salary, that is, R$ 92.00.
