Will Bolsa Família recipients be entitled to Emergency Aid in 2021?
Bolsonaro confirmed the night before, Thursday (25), that he will make the payment of the new emergency aid in four installments of R$ 250.00.

According to him, payment should begin in March and continue until June. No information regarding a later extension was communicated, but this may end up becoming a reality as well.
Furthermore, according to what the Federal Government has been saying, the new emergency aid will only benefit around 34 million Brazilians.
New aid will only be allocated to half of those previously approved
According to what was previously said by Paulo Guedes, the Minister of Economy, the new emergency aid may return, but it will present new requirements.
To begin with, the government must implement a new filter for the release of the benefit. According to the Minister, the aid should only benefit the most vulnerable. This way, just over 34 million unemployed and informal workers will benefit.
Furthermore, the idea is that the aid will cease to be an income transfer program and become temporary assistance for those in more difficult situations.
Will those who receive Bolsa Família be entitled to the new aid?
There is still no official confirmation regarding Bolsa Família beneficiaries and their impact on the new emergency aid. However, it is very likely that this will be one of the groups of Brazilians who will receive the emergency benefit.
It is worth mentioning that the Government has been working on the Bolsa Família program and one of the objectives for 2021 is to expand this benefit, ensuring that it serves even more families in vulnerable situations.
In fact, one of the points of change is the value of Bolsa Família, which is currently around R$190.00. However, we must wait for more information from the Federal Government.
