Emergency aid for 2021 approved and begins in March.
Economy Minister Paulo Guedes, along with the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, Arthur Lira and Rodrigo Pacheco, discussed the new paths that the Brazilian economy will take in 2021. Guedes then confirmed that the new emergency aid program for 2021 is already a reality.

However, he informed that the benefit will not be the same as before, being intended only for half of the beneficiaries who received it previously.
Furthermore, the payment of the aid in 2021 depends on new clauses, which will be announced later today (25) when the Senator votes on the Emergency PEC. Thus, with this approval, which is very likely to happen, the payment of the emergency benefit will begin.
Emergency aid for 2021 with new requirements.
There is still no precise information regarding the new format of the emergency benefit in 2021, but what is known so far is that only half of the previous beneficiaries will receive this aid.
To begin with, the amount to be applied by the Ministry of Economy for the aid is R$200.00, however, the possibility of further installments of R$250.00 cannot be excluded.
As is known, last year the approved emergency aid consisted of 5 installments of R$600.00 and 4 installments of R$300.00.
