PIS/PASEP withdrawal ends this month for the 2020 group

Workers have until June to withdraw their PIS/PASEP 2020. Even with the suspension of the 2021 salary bonus, those who have not yet made the withdrawal started last year, based on work performed in 2019, have until the 30th to use the benefit.

Among the effects caused by the coronavirus is the suspension of PIS/PASEP payments in 2021. According to the Ministry of Economy, the benefit, which was based on the year 2020, will only be available from February 2022.

Withdrawals available in 2021

However, some amounts are still available for withdrawal this year. Those who worked formally for at least 30 days in 2019 are entitled to the benefit of R$1,100.00.

To withdraw, simply visit a Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil branch, depending on the type of service. For those working in public organizations, the bonus has already been sent to their payroll account via BB.

For those who work in a private company, payment is made through Caixa, and you only need to present your PIS number and a photo ID.

After June 30th, for both groups, the PIS/PASEP amount will be suspended, with no possibility of refund.
