Bolsa Família transfer
Bolsa Família is a program that transfers income to families living in poverty throughout Brazil. Its objective is to provide resources so that the most vulnerable can overcome difficult times and access basic rights such as health, education, and food.
Thus, families in extreme poverty are considered to be those with an income of up to R$ 89 per person. In turn, poor families are those with an income of R$ 89.01 up to R$ 178.00.
