Caixa Econômica Federal announced the news and stated that there are more than 13,000 lottery units across the country that can be used for payments.
Thus, the option is identified in the app as "pay lottery" and is available today to all app users. As is known, Caixa Tem has been used for deposits of emergency aid, FGTS (Government Severance Indemnity Fund), Emergency Employment and Income Preservation Benefit (BEm), among other benefits.
According to information released by Caixa, for the transaction to be completed, the beneficiary must generate a payment code in the app and, upon arriving at the lottery outlet, make the payment.
This can be done as soon as the money is deposited into the Digital Social Savings account, which is a huge advantage, as there is no need to wait for the withdrawal schedule to complete the transaction.
According to Caixa, the following can be paid:
- Tickets;
- Water, electricity, telephone, gas bills;
- Fees and taxes that are in the name of the account holder.
